Reflection:  In our modern, materialistic culture we love inheritances because in them we are able to get “more stuff”. This, it is believed, makes us happy. However, a wife, who shows care and thought for the present, as well as the future is even better. And I believe the same can be said about a husband with the same care and thoughtfulness.

Prayer: Thank You, Lord, for giving me a wise, prudent wife/husband. I am blessed!  We have a happy marriage because of Your gift to me of a good spouse.  Our future is also secure in You as we have sought Your blessings in our family.  This is their inheritance… In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
