Prayer:  Loving Father, Thank You for Your instructions concerning consumption of alcoholic beverages. Thank You for teaching me that seeking after strong drink and being intoxicated by it often leads to actions that are contrary to reason, morality and common respect – actions that destroy character and maybe even a life. Too much strong drink leads to no restraints on what a person will do. Empower me, Lord, that my life be may governed by You. Please keep me from any, and all things that are perverse and would harm my relationship with You, and my testimony to others… In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
