Scripture Readings:  Proverbs 29:8-15, Jonah 1-4, Revelation 13
Reflection Verse:  Proverbs 29:9
Reflection:  Beloved, a person who has wisdom will never be able to make his point clear enough for a fool to understand. The fool will either laugh at him, not taking his point seriously, or get angry, thus refusing to listen. So, one should not waste too much effort on fools.

Prayer:  Holy Father, thank You for Your loving guidance throughout the day. Help me, Lord, as I navigate the day, to know when to contend with a person who will listen and learn. Give me the wisdom to know when to keep my mouth shut when dealing with a fool… In Jesus’ Name I pray.  Amen.
