Reflection Verse:  Proverbs 30:11

Reflection:  Beloved, how awful it is that there are people in this world who have no respect for their parents at all, and some who even loathe them. These persons tend to not associate with their parents and gain no benefit from them or any blessings their parents may give them. They do not call or go to check on them even in this pandemic. There is just no relationship at all. Friends, I sought to honor my parents. I did not always agree with them, but I respected them and the things they said and did, to tried to teach me how to live a right and productive life. I am thankful for them and their commitment to raise me and seek the best for me. My parents are both with The Lord now, but I still hold their memory, teachings and love, dear to my heart.

Prayer:  Thank you, O Lord, for the parents you gave me. Thank You for their wisdom and commitment to instructing me in the way I should go. Thank You, Lord, that their instruction is a foundation to the life I now live and that the memory of my parents live on in my heart… In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
