Reflection:  Beloved, you will notice that Lot had no strength left after the ordeal of the night in the city. Yet, he was reluctant to move even when he knew the circumstances. So he and his family had to be forcibly removed from the city to escape the coming judgment. Once they were out, they were instructed to go a distance away to be totally safe, which Lot was also reluctant to do. How gracious our God is to those who are His.

Prayer:  Holy Father, please give me spiritual discernment, to know when you are directing me to safety or just prompting me to move. Lord, help me to discern what events are occurring that could bring harm to me, my family or those with whom I am associated. Give me wisdom and strength to deal with it, and if necessary, to remove myself from it to be protected from it…In Jesus’ name.  Amen.
