Reflection:  Beloved, notice from the text today that Isaac sowed in the land of the Philistines during the time of a famine and yet he reaped a great harvest because God blessed him. Now, understand that God had told Isaac to go to this land during this time and that HE would take care of him.  Isaac followed God’s instructions and was blessed.

Prayer:  Holy Father, Thank You for Your care for me. May I always follow Your instructions just as Isaac did. Dear Father, no matter where I have been or am now, Your promises are always true to me and You have blessed me. Thank You, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
