Reflection:  Beloved, Jacob instructed his sons to bury him in the same cave in the field of Machpelah with Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Rebekah and his wife, Leah. Jacob wanted all three generations to be buried in the same place. Beloved, Jacob made provisions for his burial. Jacob gave his death and funeral arrangements some careful thought and asked his children to carry it out. For the sake of our children and loved ones, we must to do the same.

Prayer:  Dear God, my Father. I am so thankful for the life you have given me. I realize Dear Lord, that You have also an appointed time for my death. Please help me to be diligent Lord, to make provision for my death and burial while I am still alive and able to do so… so that I do not leave burdens and confusion for my children… In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
