Scripture Readings:  Psalm 44:1-8, Leviticus 23:23-25:7, Acts 11:19-30

Reflection Verse:  Leviticus 24:14

Reflection:  Beloved, it is our responsibility to maintain civic order in the community in which we live. We do that by living according to God’s Word. In the Leviticus reading this morning, the man who had blasphemed, and cursed God was held accountable for his actions by those in his community. In like manner, those who purposely choose to cause disruption and disorder in our communities are to be held accountable. For this to occur, godly, responsible people must be involved and take actions to maintain and foster order in the life of their community. Meditate on that.

Prayer:  Holy Father, Thank You for sparing me to see another day of life. I am grateful for the community that You have blessed me to live in. I am also thankful for the Kingdom community that I am a part of. Help me Lord. As a responsible Christian, to live orderly and to foster right living in my community. Holy Father make me aware very day, that I am expected, not only to live right, but to be involved with my community in ways that help to maintain orderly living. Enable me, Lord, to properly carry out this function with love and compassion… In Jesus’ Name.  Amen
