Scripture Readings:  Psalm 48, Numbers 4:29-5, Acts 15:22-35

Reflection Verse:  Numbers 5:3

Reflection:  God instructed Moses, that unclean people were not allowed to live in the camp because God, Who is holy, dwelt in the camp with HIS people. That meant that those with infectious diseases and other conditions of uncleanness, were put outside the camp, isolated and quarantined from the others. In doing so, the holiness and purity of the camp was maintained. Beloved, we know that people are still isolated today who have infectious diseases. That is one way that the whole community is kept from being infected.

Prayer: Holy Father, Thank You for this day and all the benefits of this day. Thank You for keeping me and all Your children pure and holy in Christ. Help us, Lord, to be diligent in maintaining that holiness and purity by removing all uncleanness and impurities that defile Your people from our midst. Holy Father, may our lives be lived as one that pleases You, and keeps others well also… In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
