Scripture Readings:  Psalm 61, Numbers 29-30, Acts 25:1-22

Reflection Verse:  Numbers 30:2

Reflection:  Beloved, if we make a vow to do something, as we sometimes must, then we are to be faithful to keep that vow, just as we said. We must not to break our word.  If we do not keep what we have spoken, we have broken our oath and are no longer trustworthy. I should also mention that it is sinful and dishonors God when we do not keep our vows.

Prayer: Our Father, Who art in Heaven, Giver of light and life; We say thank You this morning for Your goodness towards us! Hallelujah! Thank You God, for every promise You have made because You have kept them all! Holy Father, we are mindful, that as Your children, we are to keep our word, because we represent You.  You always keep Your Word, and Your word is always true. So, Lord, help us to keep our word to others and to You. This is our strong desire. Enable us to do so… In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
