Reflection Verses:  Joshua 22:2-3

Reflection:  In the text today, the 2 ½ tribes from the East side of the Jordan had been faithful to help their brethren in the 10 ½ tribes, gain their inheritance on the West side of the Jordan. They had done what Moses commanded them. They obeyed Joshua’s orders, completed their tasks, and stayed true to God. In other words, they accomplished their God-given assignment. Therefore, it was time for them to return to their families. 

Prayer:  Holy Father, thank You for all you do for us! Now, Lord, help us. For it is our desire to complete all that You assign us to do and enjoy Your favor as Your faithful servants… In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
