Reflection Verses:  Judges 17:5-6

Reflection:  There is nothing in this scenario that suggests that Micah and his family were worshipping God. They had a silver carved image, a shrine, an ephod and idols set up for worship, with one of his sons being the priest in this household. They were doing what they wanted to do in worship, and what they did was not worshipping God. And, Beloved, when you do not worship God, the way God wants you to – YOU ARE NOT WORSHIPING GOD AT ALL. Think about that!

Prayer:  Holy Father, You are God; and You are worthy of right worship! Lord, I give my allegiance to You and only You as my God. I desire to worship You, serve You, and follow You and Your ways as I live my life for You. Keep me, Lord, that I may live to worship you in holiness and in accordance with Your will.  In Jesus’ Name I pray.  Amen.
