Scripture Readings:  Psalm 73:12-20, Deuteronomy 31:9-32:38, Romans 11:1-16

Reflection Verses:  Deuteronomy 32:37-38

Reflection:  Beloved, when all is said and done, God confronts us with any decision we make to trust in the gods of this world rather than trusting in Him. The fact of the matter is this; if we pay homage and allegiance to the gods of this world, where will that get us? In the time of trouble, they are no help at all – but, God says to those who trusts in them, “Let them help you!” Remember, Beloved, God is loving and merciful – but God demands that we serve Him and Him alone… For there is no other god but Him!

Prayer:  Dear God our Heavenly Father; You alone are God and I worship You! I acknowledge Your sovereignty and humble myself before You today and every day! I need You, Lord!  I trust in You!  You are my Rock! You are my God! There is none other! You are my provider!  My allegiance is to You and to You alone! In Jesus’ Name I pray.  Amen.
