Scripture Readings:  Psalm 73:21-28, Deuteronomy 32:39-34, Romans 11:17-36

Reflection Verse:  Deuteronomy 34:7

Reflection:  Moses, was 120 years old when he died. He was still in great health, sound mind and he was still seeing clearly. He finished his assignment, accomplished the work God had for him to do, and when it was time for him to step down, Moses passed on his mantle of leadership to Joshua. Moses is the perfect example of a leader, led by God, and who had led the people of God well.

Prayer:  Holy Father, Giver of light and life, Creator of all things, Lover of my soul! Thank You for Who You are to me and to all the people of the world, whether we acknowledge You as God or not. Thank You for knowing that we need good leaders on this faith journey ā€“ and thank You for providing good leaders for us. We acknowledge that You lead good leaders by Your Spirit, so, we humble ourselves and follow their leading. Help us to pray for our leaders as You work through them. Bless them with good health, as well as clarity of thought and mind as they work to finish all You have assigned them to do. It is our desire, Lord, that everything be done for Your glory. Help our leaders to lead well in their given assignment until their assignment is completed. In Jesusā€™ Name.  Amen.
