Scripture Readings:  Psalm 68:20-35, Deuteronomy 9:7-11:15, Romans 4

Reflection Verses:  Deuteronomy 11:11-12

Reflection:  The reflection verses speak to how God cares for and watches over the land that the Israelites was about to enter into and possess. It says that God’s eyes are always on this land, every season of the year. God promised them adequate water and food to sustain their lives. These verses speak to the Divine care of God for His people. What a mighty God we serve!

Prayer:  Holy Father, we are You children and we are amazed at Your care for us. Thank You for providing the very things that we need to make a living and to enjoy life. Thank You for how You care for and watch over the land in which I live also, blessing it with water and food.  I thank You, Lord, for living where I do.  You placed me here and it is a blessing to live here… In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
