Scripture Readings: Psalm 70, Deuteronomy 18-20, Romans 6:15-7:6

Reflection Verses:  Deuteronomy 20:3-4

Reflection:  It was the will of God for the people of God to not be afraid when they faced their enemies along their journey, because God went before them to fight for them. Beloved, I think it is natural to be somewhat fearful sometimes, when we engage in heated confrontations that may have negative consequences. However, we are encouraged because we know that God is with us and God will fight for us in our battles.

Prayer:  Holy Father, Shepherd of my soul and Captain of my salvation. We worship You today for You are always worthy of worship and praise. Thank You, Father, for being the strength of our life. Keep us strong in our faith, Lord, as we engage Your enemy and ours, for the souls of people. We will overcome the enemy because we trust You to be there with us, fighting with us and giving us victory! In Jesusā€™ Name.  Amen.
