Scripture Readings:  Psalm 71:14-24, Deuteronomy 23-24, Romans 8:1-17

Reflection Verses:  Deuteronomy 24:19-22

Reflection:  God told His people to leave the overlooked crop in fields during harvest times, so that those who have nothing could gather the remainder. In doing so, God was providing for the less fortunate and it would remind the Hebrew people whence they had come. God desires that His people would show concern and generosity toward those who have nothing.

Prayer:  Eternal God, our Heavenly Father; Thank You for all that you have done and are doing for us daily. Thank You for the many gifts that You have given to us that help to sustain our lives. Holy Father, we are aware that it is Your desire for those of us who have much, to help those who are less fortunate than us. We know that doing this pleases You and it blesses us. Holy Father, You are my provision – You have blessed me with more than enough, so, I will purpose to give to those who have nothing, that I might honor You, by blessing them. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.
