Reflection:  Beloved, the Word of God teaches us and we have experienced for ourselves that rulers who seek their own welfare and interests show little or no mercy upon those they rule.  They are cruel and oppressive to their people, using and extorting them as subjects to their own whims. Thank God for deliverance!!!

Prayer: Dear God, Thank You for Your divine care and consideration for Your people. Thank You for changing times and changing the leadership of our nation. Grant wisdom, protection and peace to the new leader. Also, Holy Father, allow my life be devoted first and foremost to You and to Your causes, but also help me to be supportive of the leader that You set. May what I do bring glory to You, as I seek to be a good citizen of our nation and of the Kingdom… In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
