Scripture Readings:  Proverbs 24:23-34, Ezekiel 46-47, I John 5

Reflection Verses:  Proverbs 24:30-32

Reflection: When traveling around the countryside I can see the differences in how agricultural properties are taken care of. Some properties are well maintained with equipment properly sheltered, a good-looking dwelling and fields in various levels of productivity.  Other properties are overgrown, with houses and outbuildings falling down and equipment sitting around rusting. That is the difference between the one who is thankful and a good steward of what he has been given and one who takes what he has been given for granted and is slothful.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, thank You for all that you have given me to enjoy this life. I am aware that all good things come from You. So, Lord, please give  me the mind and ability to be a good steward of all that You have placed in my care so that it is able to be used to benefit myself, my family and others for Your glory… In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
