Scripture Readings: Proverbs 26:1-6, Daniel 6-7, Revelation 2:1-17

Reflection Verse:  Proverbs 26:6

Reflection:  The Word of God teaches us to be very careful about who we send on our errands. It warns us that sending a message by someone who is not reliable is not a good idea because an unreliable person will not take the task seriously and therefore cannot be trusted to represent you accurately or responsibly. What they do on your behalf may cause you damage in many ways, so choose carefully who you send messages by. My advice is that you handle your own business.

Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to understand that anything that I need to have done, I need to use reliable, trusted people to assist me in doing it. Help me, Lord, to carefully evaluate people who I can trust and depend on. Lord help me to organize my affairs in such a way that I can deliver my own messages. Otherwise, I may have consequences I never considered… In Jesus’ name.  Amen.
