Scripture Readings:  Psalm 36, Leviticus 1-3, Acts 4:1-31

Reflection Verse:  Leviticus 3:5

Reflection:  The text today records God’s design for the peace offering, which was a burnt offering. The meat was to be properly prepared and placed on the fire of the altar. When the priest offered the peace offering according to God’s specifications, the smell that came forth from the fire as it roasted the meat was a sweet pleasing aroma to God. Beloved, whenever we do things God’s way, it pleases God.

Prayer:   Holy Father, I am thankful for Who You are in my life… for You truly are everything to me. Help me to be appreciative of the many gifts you give to me every day. Help me to learn from Your generosity and offer what I have back to You. Holy Father, may what I willingly give to You from my heart, be pleasing to You. I pray that every offering I give to You show how much I love You and be a sweet aroma of my service and devotion to You. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
