Scripture Readings:  Psalm 42, Leviticus 19:30-21, Acts 10:24-48

Reflection Verses:  Leviticus 20:26

Reflection:  God separated the Hebrew people from other people and called them HIS people. God told them that they were holy and set apart, indicating they were HIS. Now understand, that the people of God are separated – and they are holy, because God Himself is Holy – and he has declared that His people are holy. Beloved, we who are Believers, are the people of God…holy unto God, and separated from the peoples of the world. However, we do not make ourselves holy, but God makes us holy when we believe in His Son, Jesus, and accept Jesus as our Savior.

Prayer:  Holy Father, Thank You for another day of life. Thank You, Lord, for in You, I live, breathe, and have my being. I am mindful that in You, I am declared holy, and separated from the peoples of the world – and that means that I do not conform to their ways, but rather, I live by the standard that You have set for Your people. I am also mindful, Lord, that what I do cannot and does not make me holy. I am only holy because You declared me to be as You are Holy. Holy Father, I praise and worship You, that You allow me to live in Your Holiness, as one of Your people. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.
