June 13 Scripture Reading
Scripture Readings: Psalm 106:40-48, I Kings 13-14:20, 2 Corinthians 8
Reflection Verses: 2 Corinthians 8:20-21
Reflection: It is always a good practice to have another person with us when doing God’s work to account for each other’s actions. This is especially true in the handling of money or valuables. Accountability is necessary in the life of the church and in our individual lives. We should always be found blameless in handling the affairs of the Kingdom.
Prayer: Dear God, give me a spirit of responsibility when dealing with the things of God and help me to understand that I am to be held accountable for how I handle the affairs of The Kingdom. Give me the wisdom, Dear Lord, to walk with a least one other person so that we can lift each other up, enjoy each other’s company and be accountable to each other as we work for the Kingdom and practice our faith in You… In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
