Reflection Verse:  Leviticus 23:3

Reflection:   God decreed that HIS chosen people, were to work 6 days and then have a solemn day of rest. That indicates that there is a rhythm to life – work and rest. One without the other is not beneficial to us. We need a balance in our life. We must work to support ourselves, and we also must take time to renew ourselves, through rest and worship. 

Prayer:  Holy Father, thank You for another day to live, love, and laugh. Help me, Lord, in this world of may sorrows, to find the spiritual rhythm that keeps me physically and mentally healthy, and able to work as I find rest in You… In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
