Scripture Readings:  Psalm 50:16-23, Numbers 10:11-11, Acts 17:16-34

Reflection Verses:  Numbers 11:4-6

Reflection:  In today’s reading, there were “rabble rousers” among God’s people who stirred them up to speak against God and God’s provision. They wanted meat to eat, not the manna that God provided for them. Beloved, in the same manner, our food cravings are not good for us. They could lead to health issues. But the real issue is that refusing to believe in God’s Word and not being thankful for what God has provided, are really poor choices, that lead to spiritual correction. Think about that.

Prayer:  Holy Father, Thank You for another day that YOU have made. Help me to rejoice and be glad in this day! Father God, I am thankful for the things that YOU provide for me on a daily basis. Help me, Lord, to express my trust in You, by making choice that are the most beneficial to me and my family, as I believe in You and faithfully serve You… in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
