Reflection Verses:  Numbers 14:1-4

Reflection:  Notice the reaction when 10 of the spies sent to investigate the promised land returned with a negative report regarding it. In doing so, they discouraged the people and turned their fears into unbelief, rebellion, and ultimately judgment as they refused to even consider entering into the land that God promised to give them – and even began to make preparations to return to Egypt. Beloved, don’t let evil reports, negative attitudes, obstacles that seem too large to overcome, or even contentious people, stop you from believing and ultimately receiving what God has promised! If God promised it – God will do it!

Prayer: Holy Father. You are the God of my life. I humble myself before YOU today and trust You in all things. Replace my fears with faith as I enter into Your promises, Lord.  Increase my faith as I take action on and apply Your promises to my life… In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
