Scripture Readings:  Psalm 58, Numbers 26:1-34, Acts 22:22-23:11

Reflection Verses:  Numbers 26:9-10

Reflection:  These verse serve as a reminder and a warning to the tribe of Reuben, the other tribes, and to us today as to what happens when people set themselves up against God and God’s leaders. This family heritance has a blight on it that will always be remembered. In the same way, our actions can have adverse consequences or good influences for myself, my immediate family, and as a lasting heritage. So be careful who you align yourself with. Be careful how you set yourself against God’s set leader. Make sure that your actions please God!

Prayer:  Holy Father, We humbly bow today in the Name of Jesus, to acknowledge YOU as our God! Thank You for YOUR continuous support of us and our family. Thank You for examples of holiness and warnings in YOUR Word! Guide us, Lord, so that our actions will always please You. Help us to do what is right in YOUR sight! Allow our heritage to be such that others in our family would emulate, as they seek to love and serve You… In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
