Reflection Verse:  Numbers 35:12

Reflection:  God provided and set up 6 cities of refuge to protect a person who accidentally killed someone. This was not a haven for murderers, but a place for a person guilty of killing another person, accidentally, to flee to before the family avenger could kill him in retribution for the family member that was killed. Beloved, God recognizes that accidents sometimes happen – and so should we.

Prayer:  Dear God our Father; You are awesome in all Your ways. Our lives are in Your hands each and every day. We are grateful for Your Divine car for us – and for being with us even in times when things happen that are out of our control. Thank You, Lord, for making provision to protect the innocent and to grant justice, mercy and peace during highly emotional times. Thank You for loving us and giving us Your peace and protection as we continue to walk by faith in You… In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
