Reflection Verses:  Deuteronomy 2:1-3

Reflection:  When the people of God refused to go into their promised land, God sent them back into the wilderness where they skirted Mt. Seir for a period of time. God finally told them to move on from there and started them back on their journey to the promised land. Beloved, that is an example for us today. For when we refuse God’s blessings or instructions, there are Divine consequences. Meditate on that.

Prayer:   Holy Father; How awesome You are – and how righteous and just are Your ways. Thank You for daily instruction and guidance. Thank You for the plans that You have for our lives. Dear Lord, I am aware that there are times in our lives when we are noncompliant, and our disobedience forces us to go around in circles – not accomplishing much and certainly, not receiving all that You have for us. In those times, Lord, help us to deal with those sin issues that keep us from doing Your will.  Help us, Lord, to submit to You completely and move when You say move. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
