Reflection Verse:  I Samuel 16:7

Reflection:  Beloved, God sees our heart. God said to Samuel, when Samuel went to anoint a king over Israel, that “man looks at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart.” That says to me, that our heart is what connects us to God. Our service to God is a result of our relationship to God. It is a heart thing. We are either all in or not in at all. Think about that.

Prayer:  Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
