Scripture Readings: Psalm 83, Judges 12-14, Mark 7:1-23
Reflection Verse: Judges 14:4
Reflection: For Samson, to even desire to be married to a pagan Philistine woman was unthinkable, because Samson was a Nazarite. However, we are told that this was part of God’s plan, when He chose Samson to judge the Philistines and free the Israelites from their rule. Beloved, we have to always be tuned in to what God is doing, even if it is out of the ordinary. God rarely speaks audibly to us – but God does speak to us through His Word and through His Works! Think about that.
Prayer: Holy Father, Thank You for another day of life. Thank You for the precious gift of Your Word. Thank You for Your works designed to bless and keep us. Help us to hear Your Voice in Your Word – and in Your Works. Enhance our spiritual hearing, Lord; that we may hear and receive Your instruction and follow Your guidance. Help us to accept that You know what is best for us… In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
