Reflection Verses:  2 Samuel 12:13-14

Prayer:  Lord God, David was confronted with his sins of killing Uriah and taking Uriah’s wife, to be his own wife. Even though You forgave David, his actions gave Your enemies an opportunity to show contempt for You. Your leaders are to model godly, moral behavior. The consequences of our sins continue even when we are forgiven by You. Unrepented sins and cover ups set up a chain reaction that affects our future. Thank You for forgiving my sins, Lord. May I proclaim this amazing fact to all who will listen. Allow me to be an example of Your grace and mercy for others to see and model… In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
