Reflection Verse:  2 Samuel 15:4Prayer:  Lord God, Absalom was not appreciative or content with just being the king’s son… serving David and Israel’s interest.  He wanted to be king now, not later, so he sought ways to undermine his father, David’s rule, and to gain favor with the people for his own interests.  As I serve You, Lord, may I also serve others, using my gifts and talents, while respecting and honoring them, and seeking their best interest. May my heart be toward You, Lord, in all I do… In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
