Prayer:  Lord God, David chose to leave Jerusalem and let Absalom come in, rather than placing its citizens in harm’s way. They left in grief, humility and tears, not knowing the outcome of this conspiracy. Give me wisdom, Lord, to know when, where and how to engage the issues in my life. There is a time to stay and a time to withdraw. I trust You to show me what is next… In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
