Scripture Readings: Psalm 86, Judges 19-20:18, Mark 8:27-9:13
Reflection Verses: Judges 19:3-4
Reflection: The Levite in the text went after his wife after she left him to return to her father. Once there, the Levite and her father enjoyed each other’s company for 3 days. The Levite and his wife were reconciled back together with her father’s blessings. Reconciliation between people and then enjoying their company is important. Having a mediator present, to help with difficult/sinful situations is also important. Think about that.
Prayer: Holy Father, Thank You, for Your Son Jesus. Please forgive me for the sins I commit that harm my relationships. Help me to be humble enough to seek out those who I have wronged or those who have wronged me to reconcile with them and renew fellowship and unity with them. Thank You, Lord, for Jesus who died that I might be reconciled with You and live eternally with You in the afterlife… In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
