Scripture Readings: Psalm 89:9-18, I Samuel 2:27-4, Mark 10:32-52
Reflection Verses: I Samuel 3:19-20
Reflection: As Samuel grew, God established Samuel as His prophet. As the Prophet of God, Samuel’s words were reliable and trustworthy. The people knew, honored, respected and listened to Samuel as he spoke forth the Word of God, therefore, God blessed the people to prosper in the land. Beloved, when the people believe in God, they are established; when they believe God’s prophet, they will prosper. (2 Chron. 20:20)
Prayer: Dear God, our Heavenly Father; Thank You for another day! Thank You for providing for our needs for this day, for we know that if you provide for the lilies of the field, You also provide for us! You are so good to us. Now, Lord, Thank You for Your Prophet. Help us to hear Him and believe what He speaks. Establish us in the land, Lord, for we believe in You. Prosper us, Lord, for we believe Your Prophet! In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
