Reflection Verses:  Proverbs 23:6-7

Reflection:   Beloved, a selfish person should never have a feast with invited guest. The feast that the selfish person prepares will undoubtedly be for show or because they feel a duty to do so. It will certainly not be with sincerity. It is not a warm, comfortable environment and those attending sense they are not welcome.

Prayer:  Dear Lord, create in me a clean and pure heart – a heart of kindness that is ready to bless others. Renew me, Lord, that I may be generous in all I do, welcoming people with gladness and sincerity, treating them as people of worth and value, just as You do… In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
