October 19 Scripture Reading

Scripture Readings:  Proverbs 13:13-18, Jeremiah 10-12:4, John 4:1-26

Reflection Verses:  John 4:25-26

Reflection:  The Samaritan woman at the well had a profound encounter with Jesus. She knew a Messiah was coming that would reveal truth to even the Samaritans. Jesus declared to her that He was the Messiah she knew was coming. This led her to go back to her village and testify of Him to those in her village.  Many people believed in Him as a result. Beloved, be a witness of the good things that The Lord has done in your life. Your witness may be the very message that someone needs to hear in order to believe on Jesus and be saved.

Prayer:  Father God, Thank You, that I am in the number of those who believe that Jesus is the Messiah sent by God.  May I proclaim to others that I meet, wherever I may be,  the marvelous things You have done in my life… In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
