September 27 Scripture Reading

Scripture Readings:  Proverbs 8:1-11, Isaiah 23-25, Hebrews 5:11-6:20

Reflection Verses:  Hebrews 6:1-3

Reflection: The basics of the faith, which are sometimes called foundational truths, are to be taught and learned so that Believers can have a sound foundation in Christ.  Once these foundations are in place, we can mature in our faith, grow in understanding of The Word, move in the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit, AND, help others mature also.

Prayer:  Lord God, it is our strong desire to grow and mature in the faith. We want the principles of the doctrine of Christ to be firmly rooted in us so that we can move on to maturity. Lord, please help us to keep our foundation in Christ sure, so that when we are mature enough, we will be able to teach others as we represent and proclaim Christ to a dying world. In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
