October 1 Scripture Reading

Scripture Readings:  Proverbs 9:1-12, Isaiah 32-33, Hebrews 9:15-28

Reflection Verse:  Hebrews 9:28

Reflection:  As man dies but once, Christ was offered but once, or he suffered and died but once; and that was not on his own account, or for his own sins, “but to bear the sins of many”, or rather “for the sins of the whole world.” And what is even better news for Believers is that Jesus will come again to the earth. This time Jesus will not come to deal with sin, but to save those who eagerly wait for him. Beloved, wait patiently. For Jesus is coming again!!

Prayer:  Loving Father, I believe in my heart, that Jesus Christ is soon to come again to this earth to receive those who eagerly wait for His appearing. I am so grateful to You, Father God, for saving those of us who have believed in Your Son, for working repentance in us, and for filling us with Your Spirit as we await the Second coming of our Lord! This is our longing expectation. Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus!  In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
