Scripture Readings: Proverbs 9:13-18, Isaiah 34-36, Hebrews 10:1-18
Reflection Verses: Hebrews 10:12-13
Reflection: Jesus offered one sacrifice, once and for all. That sacrifice was sufficient. Jesus’ work is completed. Jesus is not standing as the priests do repeating daily sacrifices. But rather He is at rest… seated by God. The sacrifice of Himself was all that was needed to set us apart and to reconcile us to God.
Prayer: Father God, I am grateful that Jesus’ work is complete – that it was sufficient, once and for all. Thank You, God, that I am forgiven of my sins, and have received salvation in Jesus to live eternally with You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
