June 19 Scripture Reading

Scripture Readings:  Psalm 109:1-15, I Kings 22:29-2 Kings 2, Galatians 1

Reflection Verses:  Galatians 1:6-7

Reflection: The Galatians church displayed what happens when Believers are not firm in their faith. They have been drawn away from the true Gospel of Christ and have adopted a “look-alike” version of it. Paul told them that they are confused and disturbed because of this obvious distortion of the truth of God’s Word. Today, there are many counterfeit gospels out there. That is why it is important for every Believer to read, study and meditate on the Word of God every day.

Prayer: Holy Father, WE need Your Word daily to stay firm in our faith. Help us Lord, to read and study Your Word so that we can recognize and discern the counterfeits that are raised up against it. Enable us to know the truth of the Gospel and not be distracted by false teachings. Empower us Dear Lord, to proclaim the Gospel and to live by it on a daily basis. Give us a strong faith in You, Lord… In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
