Reflection:  Beloved, God is the One Who gives that true bread from heaven which gives and sustains life. And just as in Moses’ time, when the people were provided manna, the people are now being provided Jesus – the bread of life Who came down from heaven, Who provides and sustains life. As it was received then, it is to be received now for we will perish without this true, life-giving bread. 

Prayer:  Father God, thank You for Your Son, Jesus, the true, life-giving bread sent from heaven by God the Father. Thank You, Father, that in Jesus I am nourished, strengthened, and well provided for. Thank you again, Father, for Jesus! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
