June 4 Scripture Reading

Scripture Readings:  Psalm 105:1-11, 2 Samuel 23:7-24, I Corinthians 15:1-34

Reflection Verses:  I Corinthians 15:3-4

Reflection:  The most important things we need know as Christians are that Christ died for our sins, was buried and then was raised from the dead on the 3rd day.  All of this is in the scriptures and was witnessed and testified to.  These are the basics of our Christian faith.  Every Christian must believe Jesus died for his/her sins, that He was buried in a tomb, and that He was resurrected 3 days later. It is because of our belief in Jesus that we are forgiven of our sins and are assured of eternal life in Heaven with God. 

Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank You for the life and work of Your Son, Jesus. Thank you, Lord, that by faith, I am a new person in Jesus Christ, and that I have been given new life through Him… In Jesus Name I pray.  Amen.
