July 23 Scripture Reading

Scripture Readings:  Psalm 119:161-168, 2 Chronicles 8-9, Luke 4:14-44

Reflection Verse:  Luke 4:36

Reflection:  Jesus’ teaching and actions astounded the crowd. They had never heard or seen anyone like this who had such authority in teaching as well as authority over demons. Beloved, when we as Believers learn to rely on Jesus, we are able to speak with authority and power in Jesus, and the results will be evident for people to see, to the glory of God the Father.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, use me to speak Your Word with power and authority so that people are set free from the power of the enemy.  Use me, Lord, to let people know You are all they need. Use me, Lord, that others may see and be amazed at what You are able to do in the lives of Believers who submit themselves to You… In Jesus’ Name I pray.  Amen.
