June 12 Scripture Reading
Scripture Readings: Psalm 106:32-39, I Kings 11:14-12, 2 Corinthians 6:11-7:16
Reflection Verse: 2 Corinthians 6:14
Reflection: Being bound to something means being tied together with it. As Believers we are bound to Christ and as such we must be very careful of our relationships. Believers should never compromise our relationships with Christ. It is all right to have associations with unbelievers. However, being in a partnership that may compromise our faith should always be avoided. Do not think that you can change someone. Only Christ can change a person. As a believer, we are to witness to non-believers, but we must never allow ourselves to form partnerships with them which may lead us to go astray.
Prayer: Holy Father, help me today and everyday to be very aware of the relationships that I form. Guide me to those partnerships that are godly and that bring glory to YOU. Help me Lord, that although I may be employed by an unbelieving company, I may still live holy at work and find opportunity to be a witness for YOU. Sanctify me by YOUR truth, so that in every relationship that I am in, I may stand for YOUR Truth, live YOUR Truth and offer YOUR Truth to others. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen
