July 2 Scripture Reading

Scripture Readings:  Psalm 118:22-29, I Chronicles 1, Ephesians 4:17-32

Reflection Verses:  Ephesians 4:31-32

Reflection:  As Believers we are to have control of our emotions (bitterness, wrath, anger and so forth). When such things do emerge, we are to deal with them in a manner which glorifies God. We are to forgive others just as God has forgiven us. When we think of the amazing way God forgives us, it is shameful for us to withhold forgiveness from those who have wronged us.

Prayer:  Lord God, Thank you for the reality of Your forgiveness.  Please renew a right spirit within me, that I may put away those things that would tear down or harm others. Lord, give me a mind to treat people with kindness and forgiveness.  Let my life reflect the transformation that you have wrought in me through Jesus. It is my desire to glorify You! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
