Reflection Verse:  Proverbs 18:2

Reflection: Beloved, a fool has no interest except himself, what he says and what he wants.  He will not listen to anyone else because he is so consumed with his own “knowledge” and opinions and he expresses these continuously.  No one measures up to him.  He seems to have no sense as he acts to further his own ends. We are seeing that acted out before our eyes every day and it should be our prayer and desire not to be such a person.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I acknowledge that You are all-wise. Please enable me to be a person who listens and then speaks with Your wisdom. Help me to be willing to hear and learn from those who know more than I do. Help me to be one who accepts what is factual and to act accordingly. Lord, I seek to know Your heart, and for Your Will to be expressed through me. In Jesus Name I pray.  Amen.
