Reflection Verses:  John 9:1-3

Reflection:  The text today is about a man who was born blind. The Jews asked – Who sinned – the blind man’s parents or the blind man himself?  Neither had sinned according to Jesus, but that the power of God might be displayed in him. Beloved, look at what God can do through us when we do not accept “the norm” as reality, but instead look to God for whatever God may have in store for us. God does not need for us to be great. He just desires that we trust in His greatness! 

Prayer:  Father God, bring to light my true condition before You and help me to do better.  I desire to be defined by who You say I am rather than how others or even myself have defined me.  Increase my faith and trust in You, so that I can be more than I have ever been in love, devotion and service to You… In Jesus’ Name I pray.  Amen.
