August 27 Scripture Reading

Scripture Readings:  Psalm 148, Job 12-13, Luke 22:31-53

Reflection Verses:  Luke 22:31-32

Reflection:  There is a battle going on behind the scenes for each of us as Christians. The devil desires to use us and ultimately to have us. But thank God for Jesus Who has interceded for us and continues to do so. Jesus is praying for us, and His prayers limit Satan in what he can do with us. Yes, our faith may sometimes falter, but Jesus has prayed for us and that assures us that our faith will not fail.

Prayer:  Lord God, I Thank You, that Jesus is with us in our battles with the enemy. Thank You, Lord, that You use these struggles with the devil to strengthen us and also other Christians through us.  Thank You, Lord Jesus, for praying for me so I may be stronger in my faith. Thank You for seeing me though my trials and my faith-testing times, so I can assist others to be stronger in their faith as well… In Jesus Name I pray.  Amen.
